Equipment, destination and a good start
Ski hire in Font Romeu: prices and equipment
Compare ski hire in Font Romeu using the total for the same dates, riders and package contents. Match the collection shop to your stay before deciding which option offers the best value.
Know the place before choosing a shop
Font Romeu is the destination label in France. Match this location to the village and address on your accommodation confirmation before choosing a collection shop.
Use the map and locally related destination links to orient your stay in Font Romeu. A nearby place or a broad ski-area name does not establish that the same shop or a direct connection serves both.

Compare the same stay, not two different offers
A low headline amount is not a complete comparison. Use the full rental period, the same riders and equipment category, and the same boots and helmet requirements. Check optional cover, collection arrangements and changes or cancellation terms before deciding.
A less convenient shop can add a journey or reduce flexibility on arrival. Compare the confirmed collection address with your accommodation; geographical proximity does not establish a direct transfer or a shared shop.
Choose equipment for each person
| Item | What to check |
|---|---|
| Skis or snowboard | Match the category to ability and intended use, not just the lowest headline price. |
| Boots | Check whether boots are included and allow time for fitting. A shoe-size entry is not a fit guarantee. |
| Helmet | Check the pack and local rules. Confirm fit in the shop; a helmet is not part of every package. |
| Children | Check the rental age category, the child’s size and ability, and whether extras are included. |
| Rental period | Compare the full period, collection and return times rather than multiplying a daily teaser price. |
A practical pickup plan
Compare the collection point with your accommodation, lift access and arrival time. Confirm opening hours for your actual collection day, whether advance-evening collection is offered, and the return deadline. These details can differ between shops.
After payment, save the confirmation and collection documents offline. The number and format of vouchers depend on the chosen booking. Bring the documents requested by the shop; fitting and binding adjustment take place with the rental staff.

Before you travel
Local taxes and accommodation check-in
- Local tourist tax. Check whether your accommodation booking includes tourist tax. The amount varies by municipality and lodging category; under-18s are normally exempt.
- Accommodation arrival form. Non-French guests, including other EU nationals, complete an arrival form with their host. This is separate from ski rental.
Check the municipality of your accommodation, not just the ski-area name. The rules depend on the stay and the traveller’s status, not the language of this page.

Questions before booking
How do I choose the right collection area for Font Romeu?
Match the exact Font Romeu label and country to your accommodation, then confirm the actual shop address and access before paying. The destination map is an area reference, not proof of a shop or equipment availability.
Are boots and helmets always included?
No. Check the selected offer. Boots and helmets may be included or offered as extras; compare the complete amount for the same equipment.
Can adults and children rent equipment together?
Enter each person in the booking service and check categories, age limits and sizes. A children’s package does not necessarily contain the same items as an adult package.
How many collection vouchers will I receive?
The number and format depend on the chosen service and booking. Keep all confirmations and follow the collection instructions provided after payment.
What the sources establish
The official sources in the table support the local facts beside them. The map establishes location only. Neither proves stock, shop opening hours or booking prices; confirm these in the selected offer before paying.
