Equipment, destination and a good start

Ski rental in Italy

Choose the resort, village or sector where you will stay in Italy. A practical shop fits your accommodation and arrival plans, with the equipment and terms you need.

Local destination guides in Italy

Check the exact village and collection address before confirming. Different parts of a ski area do not necessarily share a shop.

ItemWhat to check
Skis or snowboardMatch the category to ability and intended use, not just the lowest headline price.
BootsCheck whether boots are included and allow time for fitting. A shoe-size entry is not a fit guarantee.
HelmetCheck the pack and local rules. Confirm fit in the shop; a helmet is not part of every package.
ChildrenCheck the rental age category, the child’s size and ability, and whether extras are included.
Rental periodCompare the full period, collection and return times rather than multiplying a daily teaser price.

Before you travel

Local taxes and accommodation check-in

  • Check the local overnight tax. Italian resort taxes are local. Ask your accommodation for the amount, child exemptions, chargeable nights and whether the booking already includes it.
  • Identity documents at accommodation check-in. Hosts register Italian and overseas guests through Alloggiati Web. Bring valid identity documents, including for children; our rental search does not need passport uploads.

Check the municipality of your accommodation, not just the ski-area name. The rules depend on the stay and the traveller’s status, not the language of this page.
